DuckSmart respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how your hunting information is handled.

DuckSmart is designed as a private personal hunting tool, not a public hunting report platform.

When you use DuckSmart, you may provide information such as:

• Photos you choose to upload 
• App preferences 
• Other information you choose to enter into the app

Location information may include precise location, such as GPS coordinates, when necessary to provide these features. For example, precise location may be used when you save a map pin, log a hunt at a specific location, view property information, use mapping features, or receive location-relevant weather information.

DuckSmart does not collect precise GPS location unless you enable location access or choose to use features that require location-based information.

You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, but some map, weather, property, alert, and location-based features may not work properly.

DuckSmart may automatically collect limited technical information, such as:

• App usage data 
• Performance and crash data 
• General location data, if enabled or available 

This information helps us improve app performance, reliability, security, and user experience.

Your saved map pins, hunt logs, notes, photos, harvest records, and other hunting content belong to you.

DuckSmart uses this information to provide app features, personal hunt history, mapping, weather relevance, and analytics. DuckSmart does not claim ownership of your hunting content simply because you enter it into the app.

You are responsible for the accuracy and content of the information you choose to enter, upload, or save in DuckSmart.

DuckSmart is built to help hunters privately track their own hunts.

Your saved map pins, hunt logs, notes, photos, harvest records, and location-based hunting history are tied to your account. They are not displayed in a public feed for other users to browse.

DuckSmart does not sell your saved hunting locations, hunt logs, notes, photos, harvest history, or personal hunting data.

The purpose of storing this information is to allow you to review your own hunting history, track how locations performed over time, and use DuckSmart’s planning, logging, weather, mapping, and analytics features.

We use your information to:

• Provide DuckSmart app features 
• Allow you to save map pins and hunting locations 
• Allow you to create and review hunt logs 
• Display maps, property lines, and property owner information 
• Provide weather information and weather alerts 
• Track hunt history and performance analytics

If you choose to enable location services or use location-based features, DuckSmart may use location information to provide app functionality, including maps, saved hunting spots, property information, weather relevance, alerts, and hunt logs tied to a location.

Location data may also be used to help you review your own hunting history and analytics inside the app.

You control location permissions through your device settings. If location access is disabled, certain DuckSmart features may be limited or unavailable.

DuckSmart may allow you to upload photos or other content related to your hunts.

Photos and uploaded content are used to support app features, such as hunt logs, hunt history, and personal record keeping.

DuckSmart does not display your uploaded photos in a public feed for other users to browse.

DuckSmart does not sell your personal data or private hunting data.

However, no app, website, server, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. You should use the app with that understanding.

We work to make sure our privacy practices, app functionality, and app store disclosures remain accurate and consistent.

DuckSmart keeps your account information, saved map pins, hunt logs, notes, photos, harvest records, and related hunting history for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide app features.

If you request deletion of your account or data, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify your information, unless we are required to keep certain information for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or legitimate business purposes.

Some information may remain in backups or system logs for a limited period before being deleted through normal retention processes.

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. These may include the right to:

DuckSmart is not intended for users under 13 years old.

If we make changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of DuckSmart after updates means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
